What warm up exercises do you use?
Hi all, was warming up yesterday and thought it would make a great post. How do you warm up your voice?
I usually start with relaxation and vibration activities, blowing rasperies, jaw stretches, deep breathing, neck rolls that kind of thing. Then I move on to tongue twisters like:
Red leather, yellow leather
Unique New York
Good blood, bad blood
Teaching ghosts to sing
A critical cricket critic
Selfish shellfish
Really rural
So what do you do and what benefits do you think your specific warm ups deliver?
