Page rank and your site

Greetings,

I’m teaching myself about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and thought I would share some of my learning. A great way to build page rank (a measure of your sites popularity and influencing where you appear in unpaid search engine results) is to get one-way links from other sites. Many of the big sites (facebook, youtube etc) have what they call no-follow tags on all hyperlinks posted. this means Google’s spiders (the little programs that index websites) do not recognise these links as pointing to your site.

However, below is a list of sites that do not use this tag, thus they contribute to your page rank. BTW, I compiled this list from other peoples sites so I can’t guarantee it’s accurate, please also note that its bloody time consuming to paste a link in each of these sites, but in my opinion its worth it):

Also, most of them you will have to find yourself as I haven’t visited them all yet, anyway hope its helpful to you!
